Banana Peppers – Sweet and Hot Varieties
Fresh banana peppers with smooth skin, crisp texture, and elongated shape. Available in both sweet and hot varieties depending on grower supply and seasonal availability. Peppers range in color from pale yellow to golden yellow, and may develop orange or light red tones as they mature.
Sweet Banana Peppers have a mild, slightly tangy flavor and are excellent for fresh eating, slicing, pickling, salads, sandwiches, pizza toppings, and cooking. They are especially popular for pickling and preserving.
Hot Banana Peppers offer similar shape and texture but with added heat ranging from mild to moderately hot. These are ideal for pickling, cooking, canning, sauces, and adding heat to recipes while maintaining good pepper flavor.
