Absentee Bid Agreement & Important Information

By submitting this Absentee Bid Form, you acknowledge and agree that this constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Peoli Produce Auction. You authorize Peoli Produce Auction and its representatives to place bids on your behalf in accordance with the information and maximum bid amounts you provide. You understand and agree that you are financially responsible for any and all purchases successfully made on your behalf and agree to pay for all items won through absentee bidding.

Absentee bids will be executed competitively, with the intent of securing the lowest possible purchase price up to, but not exceeding, your stated maximum bid amount. Submission of this form does not guarantee that a bid will be successful.

Absentee Bid Submission Deadline

Absentee bid forms submitted after 12:00 PM (noon) on the day of the auction will most likely be processed for the next scheduled auction rather than the same-day auction. While every effort is made to process all absentee bids promptly, bids received after this deadline may not be seen or executed before the auction begins. Peoli Produce Auction is not responsible for missed bids resulting from late submission.

Important Bidding Guidelines

Flat-Only Products (Pints and Quarts)

Products sold by the pint or quart are sold by the flat only. Individual containers cannot be purchased separately.

• 1 flat = 12 pints
• 1 flat = 8 quarts

Your bid price is entered per individual pint or quart, but purchases will always be fulfilled in full flat quantities.

• Pint items must be bid in increments of 12
• Quart items must be bid in increments of 8

Maximum Bid Calculation

Your total financial commitment is calculated as:

Quantity × Maximum Bid Price (per unit)

Example:
8 quarts × $4.00 maximum bid = $32.00 maximum total bid

Under no circumstances will your total purchase exceed your stated maximum bid amount.

#2 Produce Acceptance (Optional)

If you are willing to accept #2 grade produce when #1 grade produce is unavailable, you must clearly indicate this in the Notes field for the specific product. If no authorization is provided, only #1 grade produce will be purchased on your behalf.

Requests for Specific Lots or Items Seen in Photos

If you are requesting specific lots, items, growers, sizes, packaging, or produce remembered from photos or videos posted on the Peoli Produce Auction Facebook page, or if you have any special requests or preferences, you are strongly encouraged to call Peoli Produce Auction directly for assistance.

Auction staff will make reasonable efforts to honor requests; however, absentee bids without direct communication cannot guarantee fulfillment of specific lots, appearances, or growers.

By submitting this Absentee Bid Form, you confirm that:

• You have read and understand this agreement in full
• You authorize Peoli Produce Auction to place bids on your behalf
• You accept full financial responsibility for all successful purchases
• You agree to all absentee bidding terms, procedures, and deadlines
• All information you have provided is accurate and complete

Submission of this form constitutes your electronic acceptance of this agreement.
